“Can I find a way there?” nasce in risposta e come provocazione rispetto alla frase che appare su Google Maps quando si cerca un percorso per un luogo troppo lontano o ignoto: “Can’t find a way there, try again” investigando il fallimento all’interno del percorso di ricerca. 

Queste stampe a secco tracciano le fasi fallimentari di stampe 3D nel tentativo di ritrarre l’ignoto tramite la traduzione di dati numerici. Ho scelto come destinazione il fondo inesplorato dell’oceano per utilizzare i buchi di conoscenza nella tecnologia come porte per nuovi mondi.

“Can I find a way there?” was born in response to and as a provocation with respect to the phrase that appears on Google Maps when searching for a route to a place too far away or unknown: “Can’t find a way there, try again” investigating the failure within the search path. 

These dry prints trace the failed stages of 3D prints in an attempt to portray the unknown through the translation of numerical data. I chose the unexplored ocean floor as my destination to use the knowledge holes in technology as doors to new worlds.
